-I think the appearance of the cook would be that he has a huge ulcer on his knee, it's gross! Because he has to handle food. He probably isn't to attractive by how he is described.
-I think the cook is good at what he does, he can roast and seethe and boil and fry. And also he makes good thick soup and a tasty pie.
-I think the narrators opinion would be pretty much the same, he is a good cook. He said it was a hame he had an ulcer on his knee, so maybe he was concerened because they didn't have treatment for it back then.
